Professional Support for Parents and Carers
Understanding a young person’s mental health can be complex and stressful. Often parents and carers may need some support in understanding the complexities of what their child is experiencing. I can offer sessions to parents offering psychoeducation and support around particular mental health issues. These support sessions are focussed around understanding how you can help and no information from your child’s sessions with me will be shared with you.
Parents who don’t have a young person seeing me for therapy are also welcome to book a session if they wish to discuss concerns or strategies they may have about their own child or if they are interested in seeking further support for them.
Support for Parents/Carers is also available by attending some of my workshops/courses.
